Making God Laugh
By Sean Grennan
What happens when the life you planned turns out nothing like the life you get?
From Thanksgiving 1980 to Easter 2010, Making God Laugh follows the Murphy family through three decades of holidays, hopes, disappointments, surprises and second chances. As the children return home year after year, old dreams collide with new realities—and everyone discovers that growing up doesn’t necessarily mean knowing where life is headed.
