Meet the Cast

Tanya Haas (Diane Yates)

Dottie Ostby (Jane Hazelman)

Dottie Ostby (Jane Hazelman)

Tanya has been appearing on stages around the Indianapolis area for the past seventeen years and is overjoyed to be making her ninth appearance at Center Stage. Previous roles include Stacey Kingsley in "I Bet Your Life", the Women in "The 39 Steps", and Marion Hollander in "Don't Drink the Water". She also recently appeared in "Peter and the Starcatcher" (Mrs. Bumbrake) and "Steel Magnolias" (M'Lynn Eatenton) at CCP, where she is on the Board of Directors. She would like to thank Jan for her constant support on and off stage, everyone at Center Stage for always being so welcoming, and her husband David for being her biggest fan for 35 years. "Amya, I hope you are watching; I'll always hold your laughter in my heart."

Dottie is pleased to return to CSCT to portray Jane Hazelman in Widow in Mink. She has worked with community theaters in Clinton and Hendricks counties, as well as Boone, and has experience as a director, assistant director, and stage manager, as well as actor. Dottie is a retired teacher and enjoys plastic canvas crafts and reading cozy mysteries. She is a member of Cover to Cover book club at BCSSI and rings handbells at Central Christian Church in Lebanon. She is thrilled to be part of such a talented cast. Thanks to husband Kirk for help and patience and to church family supporters. Dottie hopes you enjoy this production.

Amy Keitt (Julie Mayfield)

Dottie Ostby (Jane Hazelman)

Veronique Duprey (Betsy Shaeffer)

Amy Keitt is thrilled to return to the stage after a hiatus spent inspiring the next generation as a Theatre and English educator. With a background in both performing and directing, Amy has previously appeared in productions such as Bus Stop and Noises Off and directed many junior shows and musicals. Now, she is delighted to bring her love of theatre back to live performance. When not onstage, Amy can be found sharing a love of drama in the classroom, reading, and laughing with family and friends. Many thanks to my family for their inspiration and the cast, crew, and audience for the warm welcome back!

Veronique Duprey (Betsy Shaeffer)

Veronique Duprey (Betsy Shaeffer)

Veronique is glad to work again with Jan and to be part of such a fun comedy. She has been active in the Indianapolis theater community for the last 10 years in a variety of functions. She is probably best known for directing and costuming The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance at the old Westfield Playhouse, and for being the mother of two talented daughters, Sabrina and Audrey. Onstage, her favorite roles include Madeline Blonstein (I Love My Zombie), Mother (Barefoot in the Park), Gerry (Play On!), and Ruth Condomine (Blithe Spirit). During the day, Veronique works as a paralegal. She thanks you for supporting live theater!

Kevin Shadle (Charlie Pruett)

Kevin Shadle (Charlie Pruett)

Kevin is very pleased!   He is back on stage again with new friends and old friends, some of whom he has shared stages with and one who once directed him.   AND he is back at Center Stage, where he has been in two of his favorite shows - “Black Coffee” (a previous Jan Jamison production) and “The 39 Steps” (also on stage with Tanya).

There was a period when he was being type-cast as a mailman in shows such as “Moon Over the Brewery” for which he received an Encore award, and “On Golden Pond.”   Other favorite roles when he wasn’t a mailman include Bellamy in “Fantastics,” Hysterium in “A Funny Thing … Forum,” multiple in “Uh-Oh Here Comes Christmas,” Kanute in “Don’t Hug Me We’re Married” and Scrooge at the Ben Harrison House.   He also loves doing Murder Mysteries in which the actors are a part of the audience.

He is on the board of Main Street Productions (Westfield) and served there as Treasurer for 10 years.

He thanks you for reading this far and hopes you all come out to Center Stage to share some giggles and guffaws.  Thanks to Jan for putting him in this great cast, thanks to wife Carol for putting up with rehearsal evenings (and his machinations when learning lines) and many thanks to you for supporting live community theater.

Meet the Crew

Matt McKee (Producer)

Matt serves on the Board of Directors for Center Stage as Vice President, and was most recently seen on stage here as Frank in Tail End Charlie. Other onstage acting at Center Stage include Tom, Dick, and Harry, Psych, Critic’s Choice, and Black Coffee. He also directed the political comedy The Outsider last fall. This is Matt’s first gig as Producer, but will always take the opportunity to work with Jan whenever possible. Enjoy the show!
