We invite you to meet the cast and crew after each show to share your appreciation and learn more about the people behind the magic of live theatre.
Veronique is thrilled to be working with directors Matt and Sabrina again, after being on stage with them here in Tom, Dick, and Harry. She has been active all over the Indianapolis theater community for about 10 years, in a variety of functions. She is probably best known for being the mother of two talented daughters, Sabrina and Audrey, and for directing and costuming The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance at the old Westfield Playhouse. Onstage, her favorite roles include Madeline Blonstein (I Love My Zombie), Mother (Barefoot in the Park), Gerry (Play On!), Ruth Condomine (Blithe Spirit), and Chloe Girard (My Old Lady). She wants to thank her work (Parr Richey in Lebanon) for letting her change her schedule during the rehearsal process, and her boyfriend Dan for being her biggest fan.
Neil Acton is excited to be playing Dave Riley in The Outsider. His past roles include John Proctor (The Crucible), Gomez (The Addams Family Musical), Edward Bloom (Big Fish: The Musical), and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)[Revised]. This is his first show at Center Stage, and has loved the experience. He would like to thank his family and friends for getting him where he is today. He hopes everyone will have as much fun watching the show as he will have performing it.
Kat Krebs is thrilled to join Center Stage for the first time in The Outsiders. Previous credits include Mrs. Chauvenet in Harvey, Mrs. Custardine in While the Lights Were Out, and Audrey in Leading Ladies, in which she received an Encore nom for best supporting actress. When not hamming it up on stage, she enjoys reading, walking her dogs and spending time with her family. She would like to thank her family for their gracious support and love.
Since 2017, Matt has been involved with twenty-four theatre productions, including stage management, lead and supporting acting roles, and Encore award-winning sound design work. Some of his favorite roles include Ricky in "Making God Laugh", Noah Curry in "The Rainmaker", and the Butler in "Clue". Matt is currently working on his dissertation research to earn a PhD in Organizational Leadership and is thrilled to make his third appearance at Center Stage in this exciting comedy.
Larry has been appearing on Indianapolis area stages for the past thirty-six years. A few of his favorite roles over the years include Norman in “On Golden Pond,” Marc in “Art,” Donny Dubrow in “American Buffalo,” Jake in “Jake’s Women” and Matt in “The Dealer Smiles.” A Zionsville family physician, he thanks his mother, Jean Adams, for sharing her love of theatre, and his wife, Anita, for her support always.
Lauren is excited to be a part of 'The Outsider'. This is her first production at Center Stage and is very grateful to be welcomed with open arms. This is her fourth community production and is looking forward to future shows. Her most recent role was Ms. Prism in 'The Importance of Being Earnest' with the Garfield Shakespeare Company. She would like thank her family and friends for supporting her.
After a long absence, Tom is truly happy to be back to the theater where he performed in his first Encore Show "Dearly Beloved" in March, 2017. Since then, he has been active in local theater throughout the Indianapolis area and is a member of the board at the Basile Westfield Playhouse.
The Outsider marks Matt's directorial debut, and couldn't have picked a better show, cast, and creative team to work with. Matt is Vice President of Center Stage, and can be mostly seen on its stage, last appearing in "Tom, Dick, and Harry" and "Critic's Choice" in 2023. Matt also appeared as Eddie in "Lost In Yonkers" earlier this year at Westfield Playhouse. Matt would like to thank the incredible cast and crew for making this an amazing experience, especially Heather, Ava, and Kayla for making this a "family" affair.
Heather is thrilled to be making her second appearance at Center Stage, first assisting last year in "Tom, Dick, and Harry" with cue cards. She was also Assistant Stage Manager for "White Christmas" at Westfield Playhouse in 2021. In her younger years, she was also on stage crew for several high school productions and enjoys being behind the scenes much more than being on stage! Doing this with family makes it even more fun, and thanks to Kayla, Ava, and Matt for being a part of it!
Ava is helping with her 2nd show at Center Stage, and first backstage as Assistant Stage Manager! She last appeared in 2023's "Tom, Dick, and Harry" as a cue-card girl. She also has been in the crew for Lost in Yonkers at Westfield Playhouse, Anne of Green Gables at CCP, and Seussical Jr. at Zionsville West Middle School. Ava is going into 7th grade and is on the cross country team. She would like to thank her dad for making this a family affair, and her mom and sister for also being a part of the show!
Sabrina is thrilled to be in a new role at Center Stage! She has acted in several shows at the theater, but this is her first time being an Assistant Director! When she is not involved in a show, Sabrina enjoys playing poker, going to Texas Roadhouse, and looking at cows. Sabrina would like to dedicate this show to her new cat, "Clubs", because he is SUCH a good boy! Enjoy!
Val has been acting in community theater since 2017. Some of her favorite roles have been Judge Randolph in “A Few Good Men”, Sugar Lee in “The Hallelujah Girls”, and Chelsea in “On Golden Pond”. She is excited to return to Center Stage in her third show with them, but this time as a first-time producer. I am thrilled to be working with such a talented cast and crew! I hope everyone enjoys the show!
Alan has helped with many shows at Center Stage since 2017. He has mostly been crammed into the light/sound booth and fed leftover cookies and bottled water after the show.
Alan is glad to hear the audiences laugh and have fun during the shows. He finds it more appealing than the backstage manager yelling at him.
This is Kayla's 2nd time helping at Center Stage, and first running the lights and sound! She last appeared in 2023's "Tom, Dick, and Harry" as a cue-card girl. She also has done lights and sound for Anne of Green Gables at CCP, Seussical Jr. at Zionsville West Middle School, and appeared on stage as a singer in 2023 in "As You Like It" as part of Noblesville's Shakespeare In The Park. Kayla is a freshman at Zionsville High School and enjoys playing the violin and hanging out with friends. Thanks to Dad and Mom and Ava for being a part of this!
