This is a beginner to intermediate to advanced class designed to help actors refine their craft and prepare for auditions. We will focus on four main areas:

  1. Monologue Preparation – We will select and analyze monologues, exploring emotional depth, subtext, and physicality to create compelling performances.
  2. Scene Work – Through partner and group scenes, students develop dynamic relationships and learn how to collaborate effectively with others on stage.
  3. Audition Techniques – We’ll cover tactics for strong cold readings, monologue choices, and audition strategies for both in-person and virtually, ensuring students present their best selves.
  4. Character Development – Students will dive deep into character backstories, motivations, and emotional arcs, learning techniques to bring authentic, fully realized characters to life.

This class offers both technical skill-building and creative exploration, preparing actors to excel in auditions and performances. Let me know if you have any more questions!
